BRUTALITY TODAY.

In light of Brutal techniques the BJP Government has adopted.

The brutality farmers are facing is nothing new to the eyes of the Indian public. For the people of states like Punjab and Kashmir, it’s nothing new or recent. Governments changed, but the tyranny remains the same. Congress and BJP, both political units have created such hideous conditions for people of India, that some people say that, “It was better to be beaten by white men, rather than being thrashed by our own.”

If we go through the history of divided India and Pakistan, we can say that both nations did not have a single decade of stability after independence; both were either fighting each other or dealing with the devils of their creation.

The world knows about how brutal the colonialisation has been all over the globe. And what we are witnessing on the Delhi border is the legacy the British counterparts left for us. The BJP government using every tactic in the realist rule book to stop massive mobilisation of protesting farmers. Infiltrating the farmer’s protest with its own paid agents, and arresting people intuitively to break the spirits of those in favour of the revolution. Indian Politics has always been the realist politics; the governments might have amended the preamble of the Indian constitution to India being a socialist nation, but the reality is deceiving.

The Advance

We are way further from being a socialist nation, with our labours and lower classes facing crises and government falling on the extreme right towards Fascism. The BJP government reaction towards the agitating farmers is same as Britisher’s, divide the agitation from the inside, let the government agents divide the farmer’s agitation. With factions divided, let the government boots break the weaker protesting faction. But we saw the use of mob and goons increase in a series of events since 2014, e.g. in JNU student and professors beaten up in campuses, it wasn’t police, but they acted like one and on the government’s behalf.

Well, use of mob or goons is not something new, we have seen their use happening in Charlottesville USA, during Anti-fascist protest. Well BJP has learned this tactic from other fascists regimes over the globe. Nazi used goons to defeat the opposing political units and shutdown the Jewish business and anything targeted related to Jews.

These goons were given a special status and name under Hitler’s Nazi regime; groups like SD, which later evolved as SS and Gestapo etc.

BJP’s Neo-right techniques have evolved, its no more realist like Brits it’s evolving into something worse, and those raising voices against it like farmers are facing the severe consequences. The Indian state is very near becoming a fascists state, just because of a single party and its ideology. The goons are being used as a portrayal of the rest of Indians who are not supporting farmers, these people can be the apolitical folks or those actually opposing farmers. This has led to further division of the society and looking at historical data their will be an increase in clashes. The country is going to turn into a police state, but BJP is overlooking a very simple fact. The fact that the police which they are using to crush the farmers are part of the same community directly or indirectly, their goons might be always at their disposal but at some point, the police and military won’t be.

The Ballads of revolutionaries like Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev have still kept the spirits of free India alive, Britishers might have divided it and left it for ruins, but it still breathes the same air those free souls did. Things can change if we want to, people will hear the truth if we are willing to be loud enough for their deaf ears to pay attention and listen.
